Overview
ResQFlow—The Self-Healing Aid Network
ResQFlow is a smart food redistribution platform that helps ensure donated food reaches the people who need it before it expires. We built it to address a real problem: even when food is available, it can go to waste because volunteers don't show up, riders become unavailable, or shelters suddenly close.
Our platform connects food inventory, delivery riders, and shelters through a single dispatch system. It allocates food based on the quantity available, rider carrying capacity, shelter demand, travel time, and food safety deadlines.
What makes ResQFlow different is that it doesn't stop working when something goes wrong. It has four main features: Smart Batch Allocation assigns food efficiently; Ghost-Claim Recovery detects expired reservations and makes eligible, uncollected food available again; Mid-Route Rescue helps redirect deliveries when a rider or destination becomes unavailable; and the Safety Gate blocks unsafe deliveries and invalid allocations.
We have also built a dashboard to monitor inventory, rider availability, shelter demand, reservations, and delivery status. The goal is to make food distribution more reliable, reduce avoidable wastage, and help organizations respond quickly when plans change.
In simple terms, ResQFlow doesn't just decide where food should go—it helps recover the delivery process when things don't go as planned.
