Pactá is an AI agent that lets Latin American freelancers get paid by milestones across borders, without going through the US dollar.
Who it's for: freelancers in Argentina (designers, developers, writers) who work for clients in Brazil, Mexico or at home, and lose money to USD conversions, platform fees and late or unpaid invoices.
What it does: the freelancer describes the job in plain words and the agent turns it into milestones with amounts and review deadlines. The client deposits the full amount upfront in their own Ripio stablecoin (for example wBRL), and the agent holds it as a guarantee. When the client approves a delivery, the agent gets the best FX quote, converts that tranche and pays the freelancer in wARS, with a receipt showing the rate and the onchain transactions. If the client doesn't answer in 3 days, the agent sends a reminder over WhatsApp, and after 3 more days it releases the payment on its own.
