Kiyoshi

Kiyoshi is an autonomous FX agent on Celo mainnet. It trades the price gaps between Textile FX’s RFQ market and Uniswap v3 across Celo’s local-currency corridors, and turns the same engine into a non-custodial best-rate converter for people.

THE PROBLEM On Celo, the same currency often trades at two prices at the same moment. Uniswap prices it from a pool, Textile from market makers answering requests for quotes. They react to different traders, so they drift apart, and anyone converting pays whichever price they happen to hit.

THE AGENT Every 60 seconds Kiyoshi quotes every corridor (wBRL, wARS, cNGN and USDC against USDT) on both venues, in both directions, at three trade sizes. When buying on one venue and selling on the other beats costs, it executes: leg 1 on the cheaper venue, leg 2 on the other with a firm Textile quote that must break even. A loss guard holds leftover inventory instead of selling at more than a 0.5% loss, slippage is capped at 0.3%, and P&L is calculated net of every deposit and withdrawal, tracked onchain.

RESULTS Starting from a $35 bankroll: 165 round trips, 100% profitable, +$211 profit and $23,600+ filled on Textile FX. As Kiyoshi traded, the wBRL gap between the two venues closed from about 0.6% to near zero, and when the gap reversed direction, Kiyoshi reversed with it. Every trade is on Celoscan and on the live terminal.

RESEARCH Kiyoshi documents why the naira corridor can’t be traded yet: three naira prices coexist on Celo (about ₦1,335, ₦1,368 and ₦1,382 per dollar) with no path between them for an ordinary wallet.
