What did you build

AbaPay is non-custodial stablecoin bill-payment rails on Celo. An agent pays a real bill — Nigerian airtime, data, electricity, cable, WAEC/JAMB, or airtime and data in 140+ countries — in USDC, USD₮, or USA₮. Settlement hits Celo first. VTpass delivers only after the on-chain payment confirms. A failed delivery refunds on-chain automatically. The payer never deposits funds. They set a pull allowance with a per-transaction cap and a total ceiling.

Three ways to call it, all agent-native:

• x402: no account, no API key, no PIN. Any Celo wallet gets a 402, signs an EIP-3009 authorization, and settles through Celo’s facilitator.
• MCP and A2A: one signed link, then the full catalog (balance, plans, pay, batch, schedule, history).
• Telegram, WhatsApp, and X: the same engine, in plain language, under an ERC-8004 identity (agent 9687 on Celo).

Who it is for

Agents and the people they pay for. Any agent that already holds a Celo wallet and needs to turn stablecoins into a delivered utility bill, without a checkout screen. End users are households and small businesses in Nigeria and over 120 international countries markets where airtime, data, and power are the everyday spend — reached through their own agent, or through AbaPay’s chat agent.

What it does

It moves real value on Celo and finishes the job off-chain. The agent prices a bill, settles in stablecoins, and only then is the unit vended.
