NextGen BioAgents Hackathon - NYTechWeek

Nucleate (nucleate.org) is a nonprofit that translates breakthrough science from universities into real-world impact by empowering academic founders. Through its Activator program, Nucleate has helped form over 180 companies. Nucleate NY is a student-led initiative built for students, focused on supporting the next generation of biotech innovators.

As part of our AI in Life Sciences series, we are launching the first Nucleate NY BioHack: NextGen BioAgents — a biohackathon focused on building agentic systems at the intersection of biology and computer science. An agent is a system that can autonomously reason, take actions using tools or data, and adapt based on feedback.
