How was your experience building with Codex?

Building with Codex was a highly productive experience. Instead of spending time on boilerplate setup and repetitive coding tasks, we were able to focus on product design, architecture, and user experience. Codex helped accelerate development across the entire stack from UI generation and component creation to API integration, agent orchestration, debugging, and deployment. It was particularly valuable for quickly iterating on ideas, implementing features, and resolving issues that would normally require significant documentation lookup. What stood out most was the ability to move from concept to working prototype rapidly while maintaining full control over the codebase. Codex acted like a collaborative engineering partner, helping us experiment, refine, and ship features much faster than traditional development workflows. Overall, it significantly reduced development time and allowed us to focus on building a better product rather than getting stuck on implementation details.

Describe your experience using Loops House as the hackathon platform. What worked well, what challenges (if any) did you face, and what improvements would you like to see?

My experience using Loops House for the hackathon was very positive. The platform was intuitive, easy to navigate, and made the submission process straightforward. The overall structure of the hackathon, including project submission, tracking progress, and accessing resources, was clear and well organized. What worked particularly well was the simplicity of the workflow. It was easy to focus on building the project without spending time figuring out how the platform worked. The interface was clean, and the submission process was smooth. I did not face any significant challenges while using the platform. Everything required for participation was easily accessible, and the experience remained seamless throughout the hackathon. For future improvements, it could be interesting to add more community-focused features such as participant showcases, project discovery, or ways to interact with other builders during the event. Overall, the platform provided a great experience and supported the hackathon effectively.

The Codex Community Hackathon Pune was a great experience. It provided an excellent opportunity to build, experiment, and ship a real product in a short timeframe. The event was well organized, the community was supportive, and it was exciting to explore what can be built with Codex. Overall, it was a fun and valuable learning experience.

What could Codex Community improve to create a better experience for participants?

The experience was very positive overall. One area that could make future hackathons even better is providing more educational content around Codex itself. Short workshops, live build sessions, architecture walkthroughs, or examples of how experienced developers use Codex effectively would help participants learn best practices and unlock more of its potential. This would be especially valuable for participants who are using Codex for the first time and want to go beyond basic prompting.
