What did we build? We built Termharness, an advanced, lightweight Textual User Interface (TUI) that natively integrates AI code generation and workspace management directly into the command line. It entirely eliminates the need for heavy GUI applications and browser-based AI tabs. Who is it for? It is built for developers, system administrators, and software engineers who crave a high-speed, distraction-free coding environment. It is especially critical for engineers working on lower-spec hardware or those developing on remote servers via SSH, where standard heavy IDEs lag or fail. What does it do? Termharness unifies the entire coding workflow within the terminal. It features an interactive DirectoryTree for local file exploration, a built-in AI task manager, and custom OS-level clipboard integration (Copy/Cut/Paste) across terminal widgets. By keeping developers strictly in-context, it stops the friction of window-switching, accelerates response times, and reduces system RAM consumption by up to 85% compared to standard desktop setups.
