Market Desk turns a news headline into a binary prediction market an editor can actually settle: one named resolution source with a stable URL, a future close date checked in code, explicit YES/NO criteria, and edge-case rules for revisions, delays and exact-threshold ties. Headlines that cannot become fair markets are rejected with actionable reasons (the rejection variant is real: five concrete criteria in the prompt, exercised by the golden set). Built for Road to Devcon 9, problem headline-to-market.
