Nivaran - Community Redressal Planner

Nivaran is a civic complaint system built for the synthetic Samanvay Nagar municipality, supporting English, Hindi and Marathi. Residents type or speak a complaint, attach photo or video evidence, verify the location by GPS, address search or direct map selection, and then follow the resulting service incident. AI recommends the category, priority, routing and resolution time, but a human reviewer must approve or adjust every decision before any department receives work. Privacy-first processing separates reporter identity and redacts common PII before model calls, and duplicate prevention groups similar nearby reports into a single incident displayed as +1, +2 and so on. The platform persists SLA deadlines, escalation, notifications and audit events, and degrades honestly: when AI providers are unavailable, reports are retained, checked locally for duplicates and sent to manual review.
