Overview

Echo Agent is an AI agent whose working memory — facts, decisions, project context — lives on Filecoin instead of a single process's RAM. Built on the Vercel AI SDK with swappable model providers (Gemini, Groq) and the Synapse SDK for encrypted, on-chain-anchored storage, it proves a simple but powerful idea: kill the agent, switch it to a completely different LLM provider, and it resumes the conversation with zero re-explaining — because its memory was never tied to the process or the provider in the first place.
