Contra Compliance is a decentralized security protocol that provides the essential compliance layer for on-chain identity, specifically targeting the gap left by standards like EIP-8004. While EIP-8004 enables on-chain identity for AI agents, it lacks a mechanism to vet their interactions. Contra solves this by creating a trustless, verifiable system for assessing wallet risk, making it safe for both humans and autonomous agents to transact.

The architecture is built on a foundation of cryptographic guarantees. It begins with a verifiable data pipeline that uses KZG polynomial commitments and ZK SQL proofs to ensure the integrity of indexed blockchain data. This guarantees that the information fed into the analysis engine has not been tampered with. From this verified data, an AI-powered Anti-Money Laundering (AML) investigation agent performs a comprehensive risk assessment. This agent utilizes a suite of six specialized tools—including OFAC sanctions screening, funding source tracing, and sybil network detection—to generate a nuanced risk score from 0 to 100.

Crucially, Contra makes these compliance verdicts a public good. Using Chainlink Cross-Chain Relay (CRE), the final risk scores are written permanently on-chain. This allows any smart contract to read a wallet's compliance status for free, without relying on centralized APIs. The entire service is accessed via a frictionless x402 USDC pay-per-query model, which completely removes the need for API keys or traditional subscriptions. The result is a powerful, Palantir-level intelligence tool that brings verifiable compliance and safety to the on-chain economy.
