AI OS

AI OS is a privacy-first desktop assistant that combines fully local AI models running on the user's own machine with optional cloud providers including Claude, Groq, OpenAI and Gemini. Unlike local AI tooling that assumes command-line comfort, AI OS detects the machine's CPU, RAM and GPU VRAM, checks for and initialises the local engine in the background, and recommends and downloads suitable models such as Llama 3.2 or Qwen 2.5 with a single click inside the app - no manual pull commands. Users without a powerful GPU can skip local downloads entirely and connect a cloud provider instead. Credentials, API keys and email tokens are never written to plain-text files; they are locked in the operating system keyring. The assistant connects to everyday productivity tools including Gmail and Google Calendar.
